Cleo: Why isn’t Princess in here? Should I invite her?

Cleo: Okay…

Marcus: Jeez woman. This is strictly confidential. Juliet must not know! Connor, help a brother out here.

Nell: Connor? What happened tonight?

Marcus: I’m trying to tell you…

Cleo: So this is about Juliet and Connor?

Marcus: Yes!

Emilia: If we stopped messaging back and forth, maybe he could tell us what’s going on (eyeroll emoji)

Marcus: Thank you, boo.

Emilia: (Blowing a kiss emoji)

Marcus: Here goes… Connor and Juliet came barrelling through the doors tonight ALL OVER EACH OTHER! For real, I couldn’t see where he began and she ended. It was ducking hot.

Cleo: OMFG

Nell: Seriously, Cleo, you couldn’t type ‘Oh my fucking god’?

Cleo: STFU

Nell: I don’t even know what that one means.

Emilia: Shut the fuck up.

Nell: Well you’re rude, Emilia. Why are you ganging up on me?

Emilia: (Woman smacking her forehead emoji) It means ‘shut the fuck up!’

Nell: Oh right, I wondered why you were being mean for no reason.

Me: MARCUS!!

Me: That never happened guys.

Nell: What? I am so confused.

Marcus: (Eyeroll emoji) Okay fine. It didn’t happen but it should have. So anyway the more boring version of their night was: Connor declared his love for Juliet and she doesn’t believe that forever means forever. Connor came up with this ‘great idea’ of dating her in secret to make her realise she’s still in love with him and that she can trust him again. This is where we come into it. She won’t go on anything that is remotely date-like with just him and her, so we have to get our interfering hats on (like we did with Nell and Will) and get them on some secret dates. Does everyone follow?

Emilia: You declared your love and she didn’t believe it was a forever kind of love?

Cleo: Why is she being so stupid? You are perfect for each other.

Nell: She got hurt badly and is scared. You can’t blame her for being apprehensive. If Connor hadn’t acted the way he did, she wouldn’t be like this now. I think communication is the key here and I’m not sure about tricking her. She’s been through a lot and she’s our baby sister, girls.

Will: But they were way too young back then. They needed the time apart. Connor was right to act like that in a way, my lady.

Nell: NO HE WASN'T!

Nell: She left for three years, William.

Will: Exactly. She needed to grow up and realise life is tough sometimes. You’ve said it yourself, she was so sheltered. She needed to experience the real world and wouldn’t have if Connor hadn’t done what he did. Connor did her a favour.

Nell: (Emoji with swearing face)

Will: Shit! I love you, my lady.

Nell:……….

Emilia: Now, now children. I’m with Marcus. She just needs to see Connor. The real Connor. Not the hot and cold version from yesteryear.
